Asset Records Capture 24.4.1 Release Notes

  1. Overview of the Release and Scope:  GE Aerospace, Software as a Service is planning to perform a release for Asset Records New Web Scanning (ARC) Solution  24.4.1.  This code will be released to the production environment on Thursday, October 24th, 2024, at 1 am CT.  This document details the changes to be made in scope of this release.

IF-1339

 

  • Performance Improvement - A sync saving & uploading process

This update addresses the changes for the performance improvement implementations. With this feature, system will be saving and uploading images asynchronously. This approach will provide a faster and better user experience during saving and completing batches. 

After this change, users will see the progress of images being uploaded in the background.

IF-1297

  • Automatic Batch Name Generation





This feature covers the changes to enable automatic batch name generation on UI by using the convention if the user has provided in advance per repository.

With this functionality, system will retrieve the pre-defined convention for generating batch name on UI during batch creation  using the repository field values provided by the user at that time. Batches will be created on RMS with this name when they click Complete.

User need to contact GE Support if they want to define a naming convention for a repository and use this functionality.

IF-1403
  • Session Timeout Confirmation Window in ARC

This feature is for showing a warning message to user when they are idle for 30 mins saying that their session is going to time out. User will be prompted options to log out immediately or extend their session.

  • Column Display option in Batch Monitoring

This feature is covering the changes to enable Column Display options in Batch Monitoring. Users will be able to select the columns they would want to see in Monitor view and their preferences will be kept as long as they keep them.

  • Reset Filters Enhancements and Fixes

This fix addresses the behavior of filters in Monitor view.
Reset Filters option has been implemented to enable users to reset any applied filters on data.
