  • Storage Enhancements - Browser storage IndexedDB Clean-up

This update addresses the enhancements for maintaining the browser storage of users' computers and keep the browser storage clean with enough space to manage the uploads properly. This enhancement is targeting to reduce the upload failures and related issues which users are coming across intermittently.

The browser clean-up logic triggers when the batch images have been successfully saved and uploaded, during the queue for transfer step.

  • Bug: Last Retained values not working

This is a bug identified by dev team which occurs in some cases due to missing customer data around the option for retaining the last value for a field or not during a New Batch creation.

The system is now configurable to either retain last used field metadata value, or keep it from the last saved value.

  • Batch Recovery - PC Local Storage to Browser Storage

This is the initial phase of a new functionality where ARC provides the user the option to Recover Batch Images by using the PC locally saved scanned images.

This feature will be particularly helpful to recover Upload and Saving failed batches. Users will be able to recover their batches when the batches get a fail error during upload step, or get stuck in In-Process step (during image saving process). This function will also be available if the batches get stuck in Uploading state.

To recover a batch, open it, go to More Actions button, click Batch Recover, confirm the action.
The process leverages the user's PC locally saved images, restores them into the browser storage, uploads them to GE servers, and Queues the batch for transfer.

  • Bug: Log out does not terminate session

This feature is for covering the solution for an issue some users reported about SSO login. When a user logs out from ARC and another user clicks login using SSO, system asks for email, and shows the system landing page, ARC monitoring page respectively but the logged in user is still the previous user.
