AR New Scanning 26.1.6 Release Notes

1. Overview of the Release and Scope: GE Aerospace, Software as a Service is proud to perform a release for Asset Records New Web Scanning (ARC) Solution  26.1.6.  This code will be released to the production environment on Wednesday, March 18th , 2025, at 7 AM EST.  This document details the changes made during this release.

2. Asset Records Scanner 26.1.6 Released Items: This section describes the feature functionality that is to be delivered in the release.

In Process status is not clearly showing the batches saved or still scanning
  • Batch will be in "Scanning" status while scanning is still under progress until users Saves. 
  • If page is closed or access is lost etc. during scanning, those batches will be in "Scanning" status.
  • Once user saves the batch, then it will move to "Saved" status.
  • "In Process" status will not be used for new batches after this release.
User Story 115537: Resolve Memory Leak problem

Memory issues about Upload
Resolved a memory leak in the ARC UI that could cause browser crashes when completing large scan batches.
User Story 113575: Investigation of Transfer Failed & Queued Batches

If  transfered fail batch is opened and  retired in batch, scan will be stuck in queued
Fix has been provided for Queued stuck batches.
