AR New Scanning 26.1.2 Release Notes

1. Overview of the Release and Scope: GE Aerospace, Software as a Service is proud to perform a release for Asset Records New Web Scanning (ARC) Solution  26.1.2.  This code will be released to the production environment on Thursday, January 26th, 2025, at 10 PM CT(previous day).  This document details the changes made during this release.

2. Asset Records Scanner 26.1.2 Released Items: This section describes the feature functionality that is to be delivered in the release.

Feature 108602: Stability Improvements and Fixes	IF-1640-3 Additional control has been added to prevent the batches remains in Queued or Transferring state	This addresses the case where batches already & successfully transferred to the Asset Records Process map remained on an erroneous Queued or Transferring status. This fix will ensure to reflect the proper batch status .
Feature IF-1656: ARC Bugs 26.1.2	Duplicated batch id is fixed to be copied from source batch.	When using the new Duplicate and Edit Batch feature, the audit trail was incorrectly logging the unique scan batch ID. It showed the ID of the duplicated batch instead of the original source batch used to create it. The audit log now correctly records the original batch’s unique ID. You can see this in the Internal Batch Id column (enable it via the column display options if it is not visible).

Improvements

• A new feature has been added to address disk space issues related to Dynamsoft. This complements the existing functionality and enhances the overall system performance. The feature includes new user interface elements designed to improve user experience and workflow efficiency.

Fixes

• We have resolved an issue where batches were getting stuck in the 'In Process' state, affecting multiple customers. This fix addresses audit discrepancies that were not being recorded when these errors occurred, improving system reliability and data integrity.
• Several stability improvements and fixes have been implemented to enhance overall system performance. These updates aim to optimize batch processing and prioritization, potentially including tenant-specific configurations for managing batch priorities.

Techdebt

• Cyber Security Requirements have been addressed as part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a secure environment. This update strengthens our system's defenses and ensures compliance with the latest security standards.
